We have recently updated the software on our servers. As a result, the shared servers were advanced with a brand new PHP 7.1 software version. Additionally, the Linux kernel updates have been implemented, too.
Regarding our standardized IT infrastructure, the important security updates can be implemented in a very short period of time. So, as our sysadmins like to say: “Software updates is like taking candy from a baby compared with hardware upgrades”. However, we have recently had hardware upgrades, too.
This software update mentioned above has been followed by our hardware upgrades. The brand new HP ProLiant DL360 nodes have been bought in order to facilitate the growing demand for the servers. Talking about growing demand, we would like to thank all our customers!
By responding to customers’ needs, our new nodes came up with enterprise grade Xeon E5-2640 V4 processors, 256 GB DDR4-2400 ECC REG RAM and SSD RAID. This upgrade will allow us to provide you with even faster services. Moreover, our old nodes also have been upgraded by providing them with the same amount of memory for better resources’ allocation. It’s great, isn’t it? Therefore, it was decided to migrate the shared servers into these new nodes in order to create an additional value for our customers.
