What is ModSecurity?

ModSecurity is one of the most important cPanel security tool which helps you protect websites from many types of attacks againts your web application.

This tool monitors web server requests via the piped log mechanism to detect various attacks which face websites.

Where to find ModSecurity logs?

Log in to your cPanel account and navigate to Metrics > ModSecurity logs.

Then you will see a list of all your added domains and subdomains to your cPanel. So choose a domain or subdomain and click on it. If the ModSecurity tool detects something suspicious, there will be provided error logs.

These ModSecurity logs provide up to 100 recent detected errors for the domain.
